underwater attractions
The seas around the beautiful island of Malapascua are home to the Thresher sharks which come up every morning to get cleaned by the cleaner wrasse. It's the sole reason travelers from all around the world flock to this island and tolerate waking up at 4am for.
Other notable and unique sightings include the beautiful mandarinfish and their mating rituals, the white-tip sharks of Gato island, and the mesmerizing Blue-ringed octopus!
Please remember that these are wild
animals with the freedom to roam the oceans. We are therefore unable to
guarantee any sightings.

Getting here & duration of stay
Direct flights from Singapore to Cebu take around 4 hours. From the airport, it is a 3 to 4 hour drive, depending on traffic conditions, to the ferry point, followed by a 45 minute ferry ride to Malapascua Island.
After calling Malapascua home for a couple of months and getting to know the locals and dives sites, we recommend the 6D5N itinerary which comes with 12 dives.
This will give you ample time to meet the famous Thresher sharks and to explore the wonderful and unique macro life the waters around the island are able to offer.
